MaqAmir ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. We believe that your musical data is an extension of your creative soul, and we treat it with the highest level of respect and security.

Information We Collect

Account Information

Identity essentials (Name, Email) to personalize your experience and secure your workspace.

Creative Data

Your compositions, custom tunings, and instrument configurations are stored to enable cloud synchronization.

Integrations

Data from authorized third-party services (like Google Calendar/Drive) strictly limited to the permissions you grant.

Telemetry

Anonymized usage statistics and error logs to help us refine the engine and improve performance.

How We Use Data

To sync your musical workspace across all your devices.
To maintain the integrity and security of the MaqAmir platform.
To process third-party integrations (e.g., saving a session to your Drive).
To communicate critical system updates (never spam).
To analyze acoustic data for engine optimization.

Google Play Data Safety

Data Types

We may process account identifiers, app activity, user-created audio/configuration content, support messages, purchases/subscriptions, and optional device or crash diagnostics.

Purpose

Data is used to provide core app features, sync your workspace, improve reliability, prevent abuse, process purchases, and respond to support/privacy requests.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Limited processors may handle hosting, authentication, storage, payment, email, analytics, and AI/audio processing only as needed to operate the service.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and protected with access controls appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.

Account & Data Deletion

You can request deletion from inside the app under Profile → Privacy → Delete Account, or from the public web page at /delete-account.

After we verify account ownership, we delete or anonymize account information and user-created content where legally permitted. Some limited records may be retained only when required for security, fraud prevention, tax, legal compliance, billing, or dispute-resolution obligations.

Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days.

Children & Family Link

MaqAmir is designed for creative music education and does not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate parental consent. Parents or legal guardians may request review, export, correction, or deletion of a child's data by using the in-app Privacy controls, the public deletion page, or by emailing privacy@maqamir.app.

Google API Services Disclosure

MaqAmir's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google Calendar: Accessed only to read/write practice sessions you explicitly schedule.
Google Drive: Accessed only to store/retrieve MaqAmir files you explicitly select or create.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your Google user data to third parties.

Data Security

We employ enterprise-grade encryption for data in transit and at rest. Our infrastructure is built on secure, independently-audited cloud platforms. While we strive for perfection, no digital system is impenetrable, and we commit to transparency in any event.
